Hannah is a three-time Olympian having represented the United States at the 2006, 2010 & 2014 Winter Games. Her speciality is the Snowboard Halfpipe, which isn’t for the faint hearted! In Torino in 2006 Hannah won the Gold medal with an amazing run, then four years later in Vancouver she just missed out on back to back wins instead claiming a Silver medal. Her last outing in the Olympics was Sochi 2014, with her narrowly missing out on a clean sweep of medals finishing fourth. But don’t be surprised if this legend of women’s snowboarding has one last crack at it in Beijing 2022…
Beyond the halfpipe
Beyond taking centre stage on the halfpipe, Hannah is a real family girl & youngest of five siblings. Ironically both of Hannah’s parents were skiers, but with two of her older brothers also having competed for the US Snowboard Team it’s fair to say the’ve been converted.
Hannah’s glittering career has seen her appear on the David Letterman Show, model for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, & pick up the ESPY award for Best Female Action Sports Athlete. She is also noted for her charitable work, including founding her own organisation called 'Hannah’s Gold'. Hannah is a Global Ambassador for the Special Olympics, the world’s largest sports organisation for children & adults with intellectual disabilities, something that is particularly close to her heart.
Joining the family
Aside from her huge Olympic success, Hannah has 7 X Games medals to her name, 6 World Cup victories & also picked up a bronze medal at the 2005 FIS World Championships in Whistler.
Here’s what Hannah had to say about joining the Oneskee family;
"I couldn't be happier to be a part of the Oneskee Team! They make hands down the comfiest gear I've ever ridden in & I love their fresh styles!”
Our relationship with Hannah has been very organic & her enthusiasm/passion for our brand has been infectious. Her extensive knowledge is already being used to help in our product development, & her first major influence will be clear to see in her 'Signature HT Collection’ that will be released later this year…
We’re extremely proud to be able to call Hannah Teter our Global Ambassador.
